At theNeely's Canyon clubhouse: my 44th birthday and Maria's 39th.
We
played a musical tour around the world.

In
late May, I went to Amsterdam for a geophysical exhibition.
After
setting up the gravity meter exhibits,
we went for a drive out to Volendam and along the famous sea walls of the Netherlands.
Danny and Grant tried picking up some Dutch babes.
Danny doesn't get out of the USA very often, and was constantly amused by things he saw.
After the exhibition, I visited the Van Gogh Museum and other special exhibits.
After
a few days of work in Brussels,
we visited the Waterloo Battlefield site.
Note the English lion on the hilltop facing Paris,
saying "......and don't come back ! !".
a famous Abbey in the Belgian countryside.
A
day in the Jura (Jurassic!) Mountains
with my Swiss friend Patrick Eruimy,
who is chasing cows off the road!
